In 2007 I began selling purses made from vintage hub caps. In that time, I have created some very unique purses for very special customers. Here are few examples.
I wanted an industrial look, thus the chain handle. I have been amazed at how many customers have asked for this feature.
Each purse is fully lined. The hub caps are vintage and often have some ‘character’ from roads previously traveled.
The second design was born out of customers’ requests for a single hub cap purse. These purses are also fully lined. For someone looking for a more spacious purse, this is one style option.
This style can really be customized. In the example to the left, pin striping was added to match the car.
Fabric used for the handle and back is some type of upholstery fabric. This Chevy purse has been used for the past 10 summers.

This Ford V8 is a larger purse for those who want more room. The exterior is turquoise vinyl with a black & brown cheetah print lining. The strap allows you to put the purse over your shoulder or carry on the forearm.

Mercury
This Mercury cap is painted flat black. The exterior is a medium brown and black hounds tooth print with an American flag lining. The shoulder strap is medium length and sits about mid to high on the torso.
